Vintage Pressed Glass Compote Bowl

Such an exquisite piece to demonstrate British pressed glassware at its finest. Tall, heavy and with plenty of detail to catch the light. A repeating diamond pattern throughout including the foot and a ruffled edge. It’s not my usual thing but thought it a wonderful statement piece on a sideboard, dining table or even dessert trolley! Pile high with fruit, cakes, chocolates or baubles and pine cones. It will reflect candlelight so a church candle would serve it well. Measures 9ins diameter x 7.5ins tall.
