Pair of Antique 10.5ins Wood & Brownfield Dinner Plates

I have four of this ‘Oriental’ pattern, heavy ironstone plates available. This pair are the larger at 10.5ins diameter. Antique ironstone in a chinoiserie and eastern inspired pattern. They have retained their colour very well although there is the expected age related crazing. If you have a dresser they would look very attractive placed on the shelf. The initials W & B , on the rear, stand for Wood & Brownfield, a partnership between John Wood and William Brownfield at the Cobridge Works in Staffordshire, from 1841 to 1850. If you would like the 9.5ins pair too, please message me to amalgamate postage. Please note that these are heavy plates! c 1842.
