1950’s Masters ‘Ever Hot’ Teapot
I do remember one of these insulated teapots being brought out, reverently, by my Mother in Law for the family tea. We had to be extremely careful with it as it was ‘for best’. This particular model appears unused as there are no tannin marks, the lid, internal strainer and spout have no cracks or chips. There is a dent on one side of the stainless steel cover; I imagine it has got knocked whilst being stored away. It is heavy and certainly an iconic and inventive piece. One up from the ubiquitous tea cosy which we had on every day teatimes! Made for Masters & Co., London.
