Victorian Treen Egg Rack

These treen egg racks or holders were to be found below stairs in Victorian kitchens. Raised from the bench to keep the eggs fresh and on the baking table ready to use. I’ve always wanted to find one and here it is with spaces for eighteen eggs. Of course, you could repurpose decoratively with pine cones, marble eggs and baubles too.  In vintage condition with those sturdy little feet; just the screws show a little rust and some water marks on the wood.   Measures 14ins x 8ins x 3ins.
