Vintage Myott Meakin Dinner Plate

Although it is marked ‘Made in England’ on the base this delicious Transferware dinner plate is quite likely to be Myott Meakin. In the ‘Oriental Garden’ pattern; their version of Asiatic Pheasant, it has a very pretty fluted, or scalloped, edge. In really good condition and a great addition to a plate wall, or your dining table - of course. Floral blooms, leafy stems a butterfly and the flying bird or pheasant all feature. Measures 10ins diameter. I have paired it with a gorgeous draining plate which I think looks rather attractive.
