Pair of Victorian Ironstone Canisters

These are large and weighty ironstone Tea and Coffee canisters that have stood the test of time. Likely late Victorian and quite remarkable that they both have their lids. Crazed, nibbled, marked and with some hairline cracks; showing their true vintage character. The logos appear to be handpainted ‘Tea’, ‘Coffee’ on the front. I wonder if they have been so well loved that the original lettering had worn off? Perfect as canisters still, but also fabulous vessels for plants, flowers, kitchen utensils or crafting paraphernalia. White with black writing. Measures 8.25ins tall x 7ins diameter. Truly giving atmosphere to your kitchen. There is a makers mark but I can’t decipher it. Selling as a pair.
