A gorgeous pale blue version of the highly popular Asiatic Pheasant design on a fluted dinner plate. With the Makers Mark, HW & Co, on the base it can be attributed to Hancock Whittingham of Staffordshire. Likely from the late 1880’s, it is still sought after today. Measures 9.5ins diameter with a little staining and some light cracks, which are more visible underneath. Lovely on a dresser or gallery wall.
