Antique Transferware Large Tankard

If you like buttery, crazed and repaired blue and white transfer ware, then you will love this! A large tankard or mug, likely from the 1830/1840’s. I think it’s stunning with the pattern on all surfaces including the inside of the rim and handle. So much work has gone into this. It has clearly been loved as the handle has an old repair at the base where it joins the mug. Measures 3.5ins diameter (plus handle) x 5ins tall. A truly lovely antique piece.
