Selection of Japanese Kokeshi Dolls

The price is per doll. I will discount for the set, please contact me for details and postage amalgamation. Each doll is hand painted and completely unique. Crafted for over 150 years in Japan using cherry or mizuki wood. They were originally children’s toys but now are highly collectible and cherished as decorative items; symbolising luck, friendship and good fortune . Typically with a large head, no limbs and a cylindrical body, all handpainted generally using red to ward off diseases. They are all roughly the same size at 7.25ins tall.
