Pair of Emma Bridgewater Hellebore Plates

This gorgeous, discontinued, design was a collaboration with Emma Bridgewater and renowned British artist, Mary Fedden. Highly collectible spongeware; showcasing the beautiful Hellebore in purple/plum. With the yellow stamens and green foliage on a cream earthenware dinner plate they are really quite striking. One is slightly lighter in tone than the other; I’m not sure if that’s a result of the hand drawn sponging or just use over time. I’m selling as a pair. Measures 8.5ins diameter.
