Endecotts Brass Laboratory Sieve

I have sold many sieves and riddles in my time but rarely see these brass laboratory sieves. It may have been used as a teaching prop or for materials testing, soil analysis or quality control in laboratories. In remarkable condition, some age related patina and a lovely decorative piece. Rest it on your workbench or table and use as a tray for bottles and candles. You could also hang it with ornamental candles, baubles and flora. Measures 8.25ins diameter x 2.5ins high. An unusual and quirky piece.
