Antique Bootmakers Storage Box
Peel & Co., Oxford Street, London once held the Royal Warrant of King George V, 1810-1936, and were established in 1791. This box had been used to send goods to Chester and is date stamped 1929. It is in really good condition as it is almost one hundred years old. Inside I found the details of a house sale which is also interesting and I will include it with the box. There is some handwriting on the box lid indicating that the keeper has used the box to store their ‘table silver and knives’. Perfrct shape for that! Measures 12.5ins x 5,75ins x 4.25ins.
