Antique Majolica Begonia Plate
A great example of a Victorian favourite. Raised relief patterns of overlapping begonia leaves with plenty of detail in the green, yellow and pink colouring. Stilt marks on the rear show its authenticity and not a fault. Originally used as dessert or cheese plates but now highly sort after as wall plates or decorative on a dresser. Measures 8.25ins diameter. I can’t detect any chips or cracks.
