Antique Burleigh ‘Regal Peacock’ Jug.

Such a delightful tankard jug by Burleigh, Stoke on Trent, in the blue ‘Royal Peacock’ design. Lovers of Burleigh will know that they use a unique copper roll tissue transfer technique for their patterns. I’ve been to their premises in Stoke and it is quite fascinating. This design was originally introduced in 1913 and is exquisite with the floral and pheasant detail. Measures 4.5ins tall and a great collectors piece and addition to your dresser or table.
