Vintage Moussec Pine Lidded Crate

Constructed from aged pine and featuring the  distinctive red stenciled typography ‘Moussec’ on the sides; these lidded crates are highly sought after as industrial farmhouse decor. Made to transport the classic French sparkling wine bottles in the mid twentieth century. It has a hinged lid and, overall, is in great vintage condition. A wonderful storage box with plenty of history. I was thrilled to discover it, particularly with the lid still working and hinges intact. Measures 15ins x 12ins x 7.5ins. A great vintage addition to a rustic or modern home in need of extra storage!
