Vintage L Straus & Sons Compote

A beautiful compote/ tazar imported from England by L Straus & Son, New York. In this delightful blue and white pattern and standing on its pedestal, also decorated. Traditionally used for cake or fruit but makes an equally useful display stand for your own interpretations. The pattern is a version of ‘Denmark’ and often referred to as ‘Imperial’. It does have an aged chip on one edge, as shown, and I have priced accordingly. Measures 7ins diameter x 3.75ins high.
