Small Antique Guillotine

Another gorgeous antique treasure that I’ve had hidden away for a while! What is it about guillotines that is so fascinating? Maybe it’s the thought of which office they were used in and what for. This wooden example is a lovely small size, so very practical. The knife is still extremely sharp and the ruler still intact for measuring those bits of card. Some age related rust evident and it could do with a little oil as it squeaks a bit. Reminds me of school days! Measures 9ins x 7.5ins. The knife measures 12.5ins long.
