Buttery Yellow Chippy French Pot

So many uses now for this small French Sarreguemines lidded pot. Originally would have contained pate or terrine and then discarded. In fact, I can still see the rustic earth stains on the base! It is very chippy and well loved but a gorgeous buttery yellow with the distinctive lions head on each side. Would make a lovely trinket dish and perfect as a butter or jam dish for breakfast in bed or potted shrimps for tea! It measures 3.25ins diameter x 3ins tall. Full of crazing too.
