1940’s Wicker Basket

We all know that I love a basket. Indeed, I take one shopping with me whenever I can. It’s the colour of this one and the writing on each side that appealed to me. Very old, dark and treasured. Wonderful for storage needs or gathering the veg and flowers in the garden. Pot plants look wonderful in it too. I can’t quite make out the words because they’ve been there a long time. It just has character, doesn’t it. Measures 17ins x 10.5ins x 10.25 ins tall including handle.
