Antique Royal Winton ‘May’ Plate

Quite a rare Royal Winton square cake plate in the ‘May’ design. Black with handpainted floral bouquets and a scalloped edge. From the 1930’s and extremely striking. Unfortunately, it is damaged, hence the low price. It is cracked in two places on opposite corners and very crazed on the back . Someone has put some tape across one crack on the rear. I just couldn’t discard it as the colour, shape and floral design is stunning. It really is a reclaimed piece and would sit nicely on a dresser. Measures 8ins square.
