Antique French Louis XV Style Gilt Frame

Floral scrolling and acanthus leaves form the decoration on this chippy, wooden, French frame. Measuring 21.5ins x 17ins approximately in total, it is a sizeable prop for framing your paintings or resting on your shelf. Of course, I love all the chippy bits; it projects character and history. The aperture is approximately 15ins x 11.5ins with a grey liner slip. The shell corner motifs add another dimension of interest.
